The "Navigation Plus" service enables you to use My Porsche, your Porsche App or your vehicle's mobile phone connection to retrieve current or forecast navigation and traffic information along your route based on your previous destinations and routes (navigation), use real-time traffic information to display the current traffic situation on your route (real-time traffic), add current satellite aerial photos to your navigation map (satellite map), display any available street view images of a selected destination when searching for addresses (panoramic view), retrieve and anticipate alternative routes for frequently made journeys without active navigation (Personal Routes) or update your navigation map incrementally on the basis of your current location and active route guidance (online map update).
In addition, you can also use the "Navigation" sub-function seamlessly across all output devices.
For the "Navigation" sub-function, you can select, enter and save destinations and routes in the Porsche Connect App and in My Porsche in your vehicle's PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services). These destinations and routes are synchronised between your vehicle's PCM and the Porsche App when you pair your device. If the "Personal Routes" function is activated in your vehicle's PCM, your vehicle's PCM can save destinations and routes and anticipate possible future destinations based on previous destinations and routes in order to identify up-to-date navigation and traffic information for the anticipated route (Personal Routes).
When you select the service in your vehicle, PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services) initially registers with our system using the vehicle identification number.
If you select the service in My Porsche or via the Porsche App, you register with your Porsche ID.
We require this information in order to assign your vehicle to your user account and to allow us to check that you are entitled to use the service. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
After the connection has been established, to determine the information you requested, depending on the sub-function; for navigation, the current location, the current speed, the current direction of travel and, where applicable, active or forecast navigation destinations and the associated route guidance, for real-time traffic, the current location, the current speed and the current direction of travel for satellite maps, your current map section based on the location of your vehicle and, if applicable, the other map sections along your route, for panoramic views, the location information for your request, e.g. transfer the result of your POI search from your vehicle’s PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services) directly to the servers of the service providers.
The data transmitted is used to determine the information you have requested. The information is then assigned to your vehicle by our system and transferred to your vehicle's PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services).
Your data will be stored for the duration of the query for this purpose and will then be deleted. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
If you use the Porsche App for the request, the location of your device will be used instead of your vehicle location and the search results will be transferred to the Porsche App.
For the Online Map Update sub-function, the servers of the service providers establish the map version currently used by your navigation system and the region to be updated, and check whether any new map material is available. If new map material is available this is incrementally transmitted directly from the external service provider servers to your navigation system. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
In addition, the aforementioned information transmitted from your vehicle to service provider without any personal information can be used to improve the service or contribute to the services database. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in improving our service.
We use service providers commissioned by Porsche to provide the sub-functions of Navigation Plus. Please note that the servers of the service providers on which data is processed in the course of the service may also be located outside Australia, including in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
You always have the option of deactivating the service in the system settings of your vehicle’s PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services). There is also the option of deactivating the service as part of the whole "Services with geolocation" service group.
The functionality of the service may be limited or no longer available after performing general deactivation in the system settings.

The "Finder" service allows you to determine Points of Interest near your location, along your route, or at your destination online using My Porsche, your Porsche App and your vehicle's mobile phone connection. You can also call up dynamic information about Points of Interest such as occupancy status, current ratings and prices, current opening times and other available information.
When you select the service, PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services) initially registers with our system using the vehicle identification number.
If you select the service via My Porsche or the Porsche App, you register with your Porsche ID.
To enable a connection to be established to your vehicle's PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services), a time-limited authentication key is exchanged between our systems and your vehicle's PCM.
We require this information in order to assign your vehicle to your user account and to allow us to check that you are entitled to use the service. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
In order to determine the search results based on the requested search term and the location, destination and route information, after the connection has been established, the relevant search term, the current location of your vehicle and, where appropriate, your navigation destination and your route will be transferred by our system to the relevant service provider. The transmitted data is used to generate information to enable online Points of Interest to be displayed. The information is then assigned to your vehicle by our system and transferred to your vehicle's PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services).
If you use the Porsche App for the request, the location of your device will be used instead of your vehicle location and the search results will be transferred to the Porsche App.
Your data will be stored for the duration of the query for this purpose and will then be deleted. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
In order to avoid the need to repeatedly retrieve for information in the event of identical requests from several users, your data will be stored centrally by a service provider for 30 days and used to classify corresponding requests and content. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in improving the performance of our service.
We use service providers commissioned by Porsche to help us determine Points of Interest and the associated dynamic information. Please note that the servers of the service providers on which data is processed in the course of the service may also be located outside Australia, including in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
In order to make recurring search terms available more quickly in a preselection, search terms entered in your vehicle’s PCM (Porsche Communication Management, the central control unit for audio, navigation and communication services) or in your Porsche App will be included in in-vehicle search statistics. These search statistics can be deleted by restoring factory settings or by reinstalling the Porsche App.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in improving our services. You always have the option of deactivating the service in the system settings of your vehicle’s PCM. There is also the option of deactivating the service as part of the whole "Services with geolocation" service group.
The functionality of the service may be limited or no longer available after performing general deactivation in the system settings.

Your data will be stored in our system for this purpose until the next status change and will be overwritten when the status changes. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
Spotify is provided by the third party provider (Spotify Technology S.A.). The "Radio Plus" service allows you to access the integrated internet radio in your vehicle via a mobile network connection and to automatically switch between the radio sources FM/DAB/Online Radio depending on the connection quality. For the radio stations in your current station list, your favourites or short cuts, you can also retrieve information online on DAB and FM reception parameters, online stream addresses, the current country, the current system language, the respective market and a mathematical image of the currently played audio (audio fingerprint) for identification of the artist or track, for example, and stream the corresponding radio station online.
When you select the service, your vehicle's PCM initially logs into our system using the vehicle identification number.
To enable a connection to be established between your device and the required systems in order to display the location, a time-limited authentication key is exchanged between the servers of the service providers and your device.
We need to collect, use and disclose this information, which includes personal data, in order to assign your vehicle to your user account and to allow us to check that you are entitled to use the service. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
In addition, we also collect, use and disclose this information, which includes personal data, together with the time at which the service was accessed (timestamp) for the purpose of creating a database for anonymised usage statistics. We store the information for a period of 12 months for this purpose. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in improving our service offering.
In order to permit use of the above-mentioned information and the online stream, a request is transmitted from your vehicle to the service provider after the connection has been set up. Information on your current radio playback and where applicable online stream is generated with the transmitted data. The information is then transmitted to the PCM of your vehicle. The data will be stored in our system for this purpose until the next status change and will be overwritten when the status changes. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
For provision of the above-mentioned information and the online stream, we disclose data, including personal data, to service providers who are commissioned by Porsche. Please note that the servers of the service providers on which data (which may include personal data) is processed in the course of the service may also be located outside of Australia.
You always have the option of deactivating the service in the system settings of your PCM. There is also the option of deactivating the service as part of the whole "Services with geolocation" service group.

Using the "Calendar/Conferences" service, you can access your personal calendars at third-party providers from your vehicle. The calendars are linked directly with the Porsche ID across vehicles. In addition, you can access the calendar of a mobile device by pairing this device.
As part of the service, addresses can also be recognised in calendar entries and used directly as navigation destinations.
Direct dial-in into telephone conferences from an appointment is also possible in the case of supported appointment information.
When this service is active in the vehicle, the wireless interface for vehicle-related services initially logs into our system with your Porsche ID.
When the service is selected via the My Porsche App, login takes place via the PCM with your calendar from the My Porsche App.
If a calendar of a third-party provider is linked, a connection is set up to the respective provider via a calendar-specific QR code displayed by the PCM.
The calendar provider issues authentication keys which are stored in the Porsche system so that your Porsche ID account or your vehicle can access the respective calendar.
We need to collect, use and disclose this information, which includes personal data, in order to assign your vehicle to your user account and to allow us to check that you are entitled to use the service. The legal basis for this is the fulfilment of a contract concluded with you.
