Online software updates offer the possibility to bring software improvements directly to your vehicle – quickly, securely, and without a workshop visit. As soon as an update is available, the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) will inform you automatically. Installation takes place via your vehicle's existing data connection.

  • Radio Plus: Enjoy Hybrid Radio in your Porsche and easily discover your new favorite song using integrated song recognition.

  • Vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot: Connect to your Porsche and the Internet. Browse, stream, and share while connected to your vehicle’s Wi-Fi hotspot, which uses the vehicle antenna for optimal connection.

On the My Porsche Portal and in the My Porsche App you have the option to retrieve the remaining data volume and to access the Rogers Portal.

Once you have used up your 3 GB of data, you can purchase additional data via the Rogers Portal.

Internet connectivity is required for the usage of Radio Plus and the App Centre. A 3 GB Data Pass is therefore included in Porsche Connect for a limited time period. Market-specific requirements apply regarding the data volume.

The hardware integrated in the vehicle supports 4G/5G NSA (non-standalone) technology. To the extent that services require connectivity via the integrated hardware, the availability of a 4G/5G NSA (non-standalone) network is a precondition for their functionality.

Your Data Pass (with a monthly term) is available for vehicles of certain series from model year 2024. A different data package product may be offered for vehicles of other series or model years.

No, the Emergency Call service is an exception and is active without activating Porsche Connect.

In the event of a breakdown or accident, Breakdown Call can be triggered in the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM) or in the My Porsche app. 

The Vehicle identification number (VIN), vehicle and diagnostic data, among other data, are used when providing the service.

No, the service intervals are not changed through Smart Service – instead, it proactively provides you with information about pending maintenance and certain repair needs. This allows you to better plan the necessary maintenance or repairs to avoid any unforeseen failures. The available data can also be used in preparation for thenext service appointment.
