Ease of use
Operate your Porsche using the convenience of your voice or your smartphone. With Voice Pilot you can control common vehicle functions and use the Finder to easily locate hotels, restaurants, and other points of interest.
Additionally, the app allows you to open and lock your Porsche, locate the vehicle with the Car Finder, remotely control the air conditioning, mark your parking position with the Horn & Indicator remote service and provides a user-friendly interface to complete your Porsche experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I perform an online software update?
As soon as a new update is available you will automatically be notified in the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM) and can easily carry out the update yourself:
1. Make sure that the following conditions are met:
The vehicle is parked in a safe position: the gear selector is set to P and the electric parking brake is activated – automatically or with the P button.
The parking pre-climatization is deactivated.
The windows and doors are closed.
The charging plug is not plugged in.
The vehicle is sufficiently charged.
2. Switch off the vehicle. Before you open the door, the goodbye screen will appear with a notification that an online software update is available. Read the information carefully. You can start the installation by clicking the “Install now” button.
3. Now it will take approximately three minutes for the conditions* to be checked. If the conditions are met, you will be asked to exit and lock the vehicle with the windows and doors closed.
4. The update will be installed automatically. After the update has been successfully installed, you will receive a notification and are able touse your vehicle again.
*Conditions may vary depending on the vehicle model.
What requirements must be met for an online software update?
Connecting your Porsche to the Internet is a crucial precondition for online software updates. In order to carry out the update safely, the following general conditions must also be met:
Your Porsche is equipped with mobile network capability.
A stable internet connection (WLAN) is available and activated.
You have a My Porsche account and your personal Porsche ID is linked to your vehicle.
The Porsche Connect package is activated.
The Online Software Update service is activated in My Porsche
The main user is connected to the vehicle.
Private mode is switched off.
Is Emergency Call only active when Porsche Connect is activated?
No, the Emergency Call service is an exception and is active without activating Porsche Connect.
How do I trigger the breakdown call if I break down or have an accident?
In the event of a breakdown or accident, Breakdown Call can be triggered in the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM) or in the My Porsche app.
How will Smart Service let me know that my vehicle needs to be serviced? Which vehicle components will Smart Service check to see whether they need a service?
The information will be displayed in your My Porsche portal and in your vehicle. Your Authorized Porsche Dealer also receives the information about whether a service is required and can then arrange the service appointment for you. You can view the current list of components in your vehicle and in My Porsche.
