Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus

Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+) has a dynamic high beam that continuously adapts its headlight range to your traffic situation and your speed. Depending on the position of other detected road users, the transition between low beam and high beam can be shifted dynamically. The closer oncoming vehicles get, the more the high beam is reduced until only the low beam is active. The same applies when approaching vehicles up in front.

Every environment requires different light. PDLS + adjusts the light distribution for dipped and main beam to the situation - whether in the city, on country roads or on motorways. This improves the illumination of the carriageway.

In low-visibility conditions, e.g. in fog, the upper light cone is dimmed as required. This reduces the reflection of the light, lessening glare for you, the driver.

In addition, the PDLS + also offers you dynamic cornering lights that adjust the headlight range to your position and speed within the bend. The light is turned further in the direction of the bend, providing better illumination in the bend.
