No, the Emergency Call service is an exception and is active without activating Porsche Connect Care.
In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you can trigger the breakdown call at the touch of a button in the PCM or in the Porsche Connect App.
Breakdown Call is the right point of contact if you have a fault or breakdown with your vehicle that is preventing you from continuing your trip for the time being, or if you are unsure of whether it is possible to continue your trip. In general, Breakdown Call offers the possibility of assistance if you should discover a problem with your vehicle, such as an active warning message on the instrument cluster. However, please note that Breakdown Call is not an Emergency Call service. In the event of a serious accident or personal injury, please dial the Emergency Call service immediately.
