Hands-Free Assistant
Porsche’s Hands-Free Assistant is an innovative driver assistance feature designed to enhance comfort and convenience on long highway journeys. As part of Porsche’s next generation of advanced driving systems, it supports the driver by taking over key driving tasks under defined conditions.
On eligible and mapped roads*, the innovative Hands-Free Assistant function allows you to take your hands off the steering wheel at speeds of up to 85 mph. The system is designed to assist with lane centering, speed adjustment, and lane change based on surrounding traffic and responds to certain changing conditions.
All relevant functions are displayed in a central 3D driver assistance display in the instrument cluster, so you always have a clear overview.
*Multilane roads with physical separation to oncoming traffic and restricted access to pedestrians and cyclists. Function may be limited or unavailable under certain conditions, including but not limited to weather, construction zones, tunnels, road conditions, and the use of certain eyewear.

All functions described are driver assistance systems and subject to system limitations. The driver must continue to observe and obey local laws, monitor traffic conditions and remain ready to take control at any time.
To access the full range of Hands-Free Assistant functions, an active Connect package and the Drive Assist option are required.
Availability
This service is only available for Macan Electric and Cayenne Electric vehicles configured with the option Drive Assist starting with model year 2027.
No availability on earlier model years.
