When traveling at high speeds, continuous steering interventions help keep you in the middle of your lane.
Your vehicle also provides support at low speeds in traffic jams and follows the course of the road.
Unintentional straying from your lane is prevented and the system intervenes if it detects driver inattentiveness.
Active Lane Keeping uses the front camera and front radar to continuously register the surroundings and helps the driver to keep the vehicle in the selected lane. It combines adaptive cruise control and lane keeping functions on well-developed highways and freeways at speeds between 0 and 130 mph. The system registers other road users and road markings within the system parameters and keeps the vehicle in the middle of the lane through continuous steering intervention - even in traffic jams. Significantly reduces strain on the driver and provides greater comfort on long journeys.

This function requires adaptive cruise control in the vehicle.
Responsibility remains with the driver, who must also maintain the necessary attentiveness while driving. The systems operate only within their technical limits and are intended to assist the driver.
The function can be easily reset by using the turn indicator, changing lanes or braking.
