Functions on Demand (FoD) allows you to activate additional functions in your vehicle after purchase using the Connect Store. When you book FoD in the Connect Store, our system first uses the vehicle identification number (VIN) to check the availability of functions for your vehicle. We need this information to identify the FoD options available to you and to limit the selection in the Connect Store to the features available to your vehicle. In order to enable us to identify error information for service and support purposes in the event of an error, we also process the VIN and the FoD booked for the respective vehicle.
