Then, click on the link provided in the e-mail. On the next page, request an activation code, which will be sent to you as a text message on the mobile phone number you provided to your Porsche partner. This step is necessary in order to verify that is your correct mobile phone number. You can now set your personal Porsche ID password. You will then see the personal details you provided. Then, accept the general terms and conditions and click on "Create your Porsche ID now and continue".
You must provide your Porsche partner with the following information in order to receive the invitation link: Contact details (name, e-mail address, mobile phone number) and any other information required in specific countries and permission to share personal data.
When you order a new vehicle, you will receive an e-mail with a registration link for My Porsche shortly before delivery or when the vehicle is delivered. The Porsche ID is activated by clicking the link, enabling access to My Porsche.

The highest security standards apply for the transmission and storage of your personal data. Your details, such as credit card information, address and e-mail address, are encrypted automatically using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. SSL encryption is activated as soon as the URL in the address line begins with "https://" or a lock symbol appears in the lower status bar on the Internet browser. Registration for the Parking Plus service begins in the Porsche Connect Store. After forwarding to evopark you can complete the booking. After that the Parking Plus card will be sent to you.
You will find purchased services immediately after the next reboot of your vehicle in the PCM if your vehicle is connected to the Internet.
There are various ways of establishing a data connection in your Porsche. The connection options then depend on how the data connection is established.
Data connection via the embedded SIM card (availability dependent on country): You can establish a data connection using the embedded SIM card. You can also make and receive calls using a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. It is not possible to have a data connection via the embedded SIM card and a telephone connection via an inserted SIM card in parallel.
Data connection via an inserted SIM card: If you are using a separate, data-enabled SIM card, you can establish a data connection via this SIM card. You can also make and receive calls using a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can make and receive calls using the inserted SIM card in some countries. In this case, if you have an LTE connection, it is possible to make and receive calls in parallel with a data connection, depending on your provider. If a data connection is established via the EDGE mobile phone network (GSM)/2G network, the data connection will switch off when using the phone.
Data connection via the hotspot on your smartphone: If you use the WiFi hotspot on your smartphone in the vehicle, the data connection will also be used through this. You can also make and receive calls via Bluetooth. In this case, if you have an LTE connection, it is possible to make and receive calls in parallel with a data connection - depending on your provider. If a data connection is established via the EDGE mobile phone network (GSM)/2G network, the data connection will switch off when using the phone.
The availability and functionality of Porsche Connect services can vary in individual countries and depends on whether the individual Porsche partners provide content in the various countries.
To use Porsche Connect services in another country, you must first activate Roaming in the PCM.

An active data connection will be indicated by a corresponding symbol at the top right (new Panamera) or bottom left (all other models) of your PCM. If there is no letter displayed, there is no data connection. When there is an active data connection via the WiFi hotspot on the PCM, a "WiFi symbol" will appear at the top right (Panamera 2nd generation and Cayenne 3rd generation) and bottom left (all other models).
I would like to connect my phone to the vehicle for making and receiving calls, but I don't want Porsche Connect services to use up my mobile phone contract data allowance.
If you want to use your phone only for making and receiving calls, connect it via Bluetooth and deactivate the active WiFi hotspot on your smartphone if necessary. When connecting your phone to the PCM, also make sure that you decline the data usage option. A data usage query may be displayed in the PCM.

When establishing the data connection via the SIM card, you are prompted to enter APN settings (data connection settings). What does that mean?
An "Access Point Name" (APN for short) is used for logging into a network provided by a mobile phone provider. With some providers or SIM cards, it is possible to select several access points and this allows you to connect to the provider via different access points. If you do not know which APN is the right one, please ask your mobile phone provider. You can then store this in the settings for the data connection in the PCM.

GOOGLE® Earth must be activated using the PCM map view in the MAP menu. To do this, go to the map options, which you will find at the top of the PCM screen (Panamera models) or at the right edge of the screen (all other models) in the map view and activate GOOGLE® Earth. For all roads for which a GOOGLE® Street View imaging service is available, you will find a yellow figure - the so-called "GOOGLE® Pegman" - at the bottom right of the map view. You can use this to activate GOOGLE® Street View. You can also activate the Street View function by zooming into the map. Please note that this view is not available while driving in some countries because of legal requirements.
GOOGLE® Earth must be activated using the Map view of the PCM. To do this, go to the map options, which you will find at the top of the PCM screen (Panamera models) or at the right margin of the screen (all other models) in the Map view and activate GOOGLE® Earth.
As soon as you have connected your smartphone for using Apple® CarPlay, all Bluetooth functions are shown via Apple® CarPlay and the PCM functions are deactivated. In other words, the telephone function is only available to you via Apple® CarPlay.
You have various options for establishing an Internet connection via the PCM:
After you have activated the mobile hotspot on your phone, call up the Data connection menu item in the Device manager in the PCM or touch the corresponding icon. You will then be prompted to search for external WiFi hotspots on the PCM. Once you have found your mobile hotspot, you must enter the required password on the PCM (at least 8 characters). Many modern identity documents have security holograms for added security, particularly personal IDs and passports from the European Union, Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and USA.
As a user, you can use the video identification procedure free of charge.
The video identification procedure can be used from Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CET.

The identification process involves a video chat between you and an employee of the external service provider and takes about three to five minutes. During the video call, the employee asks you to hold your identity document up to the camera and flip it in order to check all data and safety holograms.

No, there are no roaming charges for using the embedded SIM card.
Can I use the embedded SIM card that is available in some countries at the same time as Apple® CarPlay?
The data function of the integrated SIM card is not restricted by Apple® CarPlay.
The PCM does not support wireless Apple® CarPlay. If you want to use Apple® CarPlay, you need to connect to the PCM via USB.
Up to three regions can be updated per update. If you need additional regions, please contact a Porsche partner.

Unfortunately, the PCM does not currently support Spotify as a service. But there are two ways of playing music from Spotify in your car.

The Porsche Centre where you purchased your vehicle is automatically saved for your vehicle in My Porsche. Naturally you can also change Porsche Centres every time you make an online appointment inquiry and booking.
I do not know the current mileage of my vehicle. Can I still schedule or book a service appointment in My Porsche?
Yes, you can still schedule or book a service appointment. Leave the mileage input field free and fill in the other input fields. Your mileage will be entered by your Porsche Centre later on.
Why is a vehicle recall tile activated in My Porsche in my form for scheduling a service appointment?
An active Recall campaign exists for your vehicle. Please contact your Porsche Centre.
Can I change a Porsche Centre associated with my vehicle in My Porsche (for example if I move house)?
At present you cannot change the Porsche Centre manually. Please contact the Porsche Centre.
The Porsche entre will try to accommodate your appointment request where possible. It can sometimes happen that there is no workshop capacity are available for the preferred appointment time. After your Porsche Centre has examined your preferred, you will receive a binding appointment confirmation. Naturally you can cancel or change the appointment at any time.
All vehicles older than 1984 are represented by a sample image. Newer vehicles will be displayed if images are available for your model. Otherwise you will see the silhouette of the vehicle.

Yes, this is possible. Please simply select the relevant vehicle in your My Porsche account.
If the Porsche Connect services are not available, there may be a number of reasons for this:
1) No Internet connection
Please first check if you have an active internet connection. You can recognise this by an EDGE, 3G or LTE symbol on your PCM screen. In the case of the Panamera 2nd generation and Cayenne 3rd generation you will find this symbol in the top right hand corner of the screen. For all other models the symbol is on the bottom left.
Important information for SIM card:
If there is no Internet connection, please check first whether you have enabled a data connection for your SIM card in the PCM. Further information about this can be found in your operating instructions. Also contact your mobile phone provider to check whether your remaining data allowance is sufficient. A possible cause can even be a temporary dead zone that has interrupted the data connection. If you are abroad, you may have to activate the Roaming option in the PCM and on your mobile phone.
And lastly, please check that the SIM card and your phone are working. If you have any questions, please contact your mobile phone provider.
Important information for embedded SIM:
Please check that there is no SIM card in the SIM card reader of the PCM.
2) No active Porsche Connect contract
Some Porsche Connect services include a free inclusive period. At the end of this test phase, the services contracts can be renewed subject to a charge in the Porsche Connect Store. You can find out whether there is an active contract and the length of time remaining in the contract in My Porsche or in your PCM by selecting the menu item

Apple® CarPlay shows several apps from your iPhone® on the PCM. This function is made available via your iPhone® and is not a Porsche functionality. If Apple® CarPlay does not work, please carry out the following steps:
Please observe the following question on the topic "How does Parking Plus work when entering and leaving a multi-storey car park?" If you are still unable to enter the multi-storey car park (e.g., due to a technical fault in the car park), you can enter the car park as usual by requesting a regular printed ticket at the machine. If, contrary to expectations, the exit barrier fails to open, please use the intercom system installed there. An assistant from the multi-storey car park will help you directly. If any additional adjustments need to be made to the parking transaction at a later point, please contact Porsche Connect Support (contact details on your Parking Plus card or on the Parking Plus Homepage).

You can use the Porsche Car Connect app to display vehicle information, such as the fuel level or the current mileage. You can also use it to control selected vehicle functions.
