Frequently Asked Questions

As soon as an online software update is available for your vehicle, you will receive a notification in your vehicle. If you do not receive a notification, your vehicle is completely up-to-date.

  • Porsche ID is active

  • Online Software Update service was activated in My Porsche

  • Privacy mode is deactivated in the vehicle (Flight mode)

  • Privacy mode is deactivated for certain services (Flight mode)


The information will be displayed in your My Porsche portal and in your vehicle. Your Authorized Porsche Dealer also receives the information about whether a service is required and can then arrange the service appointment for you. You can view the current list of components in your vehicle and in My Porsche.

No, the Emergency Call service is an exception and is active without activating Porsche Connect Care.

In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you can trigger the breakdown call at the touch of a button in the PCM or in the Porsche Connect App.
